Self Portrait Series (2025)

The following is a series of self portraits created by Jack in TouchDesigner.

Jack programmed a fluid simulation where the particles would react to the light and dark areas of an input image.

"I love these self portraits as the images have such great depth to them. I was inspired by some of Francis Bacon's portraits to create these works and I find this idea of a distorted self identity to be very relevant today in our social climate. I think the fact that the work has also been created digitally with elements of randomness also adds to this idea and helps it to sit amongst other contemporary work, despite its objectivity."

Clive (2025)

This piece was on display as part of University of Northampton's 'Of Sound Mind 2025' immersive sound installation.

"Clive is a discussion about the role of the artist in contemporary art. I wanted to create an unforgettable experience that was totally unique to each user that interacted with Clive."

This work features use of interactive projection mapping on a university supplied mannequin and an exploration of the link between TouchDesigner (visual) and Ableton (audio).

Europe Tour (2025)

Jack's work will be on display in respected galleries in the art capitals of Europe this October. Events are free entry for all!

Works on display include the Self Portrait series and an abstract figurative painting "Being" that will be available for purchase on site in Florence, Italy.
